Cypress

It’s hard to believe that Cypress was primarily a rural area until the 1990s, when development of the first master-planned communities started. The community is often referred to as “Cy-Fair” or Cypress-Fairbanks, which had its origins in 1930 from the merging of Big Cypress School and Fairbanks High School into the Cy-Fair High School. Cypress today is a booming suburb of Houston, attracting many homebuyers through the years for its excellent quality of life, close proximity to Houston, topnotch schools, and ample recreational opportunities. All this makes it a highly desired place to live and Cypress has been included in the top 100 highest-income urban areas in the country.
